Looking Good and Feeling Great!
Buddy's long fur blowing in the wind. |
It is no secret
that Buddy and Magic shed… a lot. Some of you might not get to experience tumble
weeds of fur in every crevice of your house, but vacuuming so consistently gets
to be a chore. For a while we would try to brush the dogs’ fur everyday, but
the fur never stopped coming out and no one in my family had the patience to
spend countless hours combing two dogs with very thick fur!

The
solution? Go for the puppy cut! Usually Australian Shepherds have long fur, but
as you can see from the picture, the puppy cut is short and fluffy. When I came
home to two jumping pompoms, I wasn’t sure how to react to the drastic change
in their appearance. Eventually, it grew on me and I enjoyed their cute fuzzy do’s.
If you like when
your dog comes home from the groomer all primped and pretty, you should check
out the dogs at the National Dog Shows hosted by the Kennel Club of Philadelphia!
Since it is one of five benched dog shows, visitors can hang out with the dogs
all day. You can go see all kinds of breeds and watch as dog owners groom their
furry friends to perfection - the amount of brushes, product, and blow dryers
could rival any woman! If you are interested in meeting all kinds of breeds and
getting an inside look at all that goes into making each dog look fabulous,
check out our links to learn more and get tickets for the event!
